Junior Hockey & Child Welfare
A warm welcome to everyone returning to hockey and to everyone joining Wimborne hockey for the first time!
Safety, Attendance Registration & What to Wear
Safety & Registration: The safety of your children is very important to us. With such a great turn out on a Tuesday night for the under 10’s, please could parents ensure that you register your child’s/children's attendance with Mike when you arrive. If you need to leave and return later, you can allocate responsibility to another parent or provide us with a contact number. When training is finished, please register children out with Mike.
Clothing & Equipment: Please ensure children wear several layers that they can remove as they warm up, plus hats and gloves when cold. Although injury in this age group is minimal, we strongly advise children wear mouth guards and shin pads during training. We always have plenty of spare hockey sticks for children to borrow!
Welfare & Junior Leadership
Under 10s & Under 12s play a number of Festivals across the season, while Under 14/15 (mixed boys/girls) play a series of Friendlies.
